Port Blair, Apr 17: As part of World Heritage Day celebrations an exclusive ‘Art Exhibition on Heritage’ will be inaugurated on 18th April 2016 at 6 p.m in the Art Gallery & Studio in the premises of Gandhi Park. Art professionals and art lovers have contributed their paintings for the theme based art exhibition.
An Art Gallery & Studio has been set up in the Gandhi Park premises which provide a platform to the artists of the islands to display their artwork. Renowned artists of the islands namely Shri R.K. Biswas, Shri Alok Adhikari, Shri Mahananda Gomasta, Shri D. Neelakantan, Shri Yogeswar Rao, Shri Ali Akbar, Shi B. Parameshwar Rao, Shri S. Mohan Rao, Shri Krishnendu Chakraborty , Smt. Geeta Rani Bairagi, Shri Sujit Kumar Roy, Shri P. Senthil Kumar, Smt. Shampa Ray, Shri Suresh Kumar, Shri S.N. Sreeparkash and Shri Jai Prakash have been contributing their artworks for the Art Gallery & Studio.
