Port Blair, April 11: As part of Kala Kendra Society, an Art Gallery & Studio has been set up in the Gandhi Park premises which presently houses paintings and sculptures of visual artists of the islands. A good number of islanders and tourists visits and appreciates the exhibition every day.
The Kala Kendra Society proposes to organize monthly theme based Art Exhibitions in the Art Gallery & Studio. In this series, the theme for the month of April has been selected as ’heritage’. In this context, – artist -professionals and amateurs, photographers, art collectors are requested to contribute their art collection on the theme ‘’heritage’’ for display in the Art Gallery & Studio before April 15.
