Port Blair, May 10: A new sheet-fed offset printing machine procured from the Public Sector Undertaking M/s. HMT Ltd was commissioned at the Govt. Press, Port Blair by the Director (IP&T), Mr. M.N. Murali at a simple function this morning.
This machine though similar in technology with the other two machines also procured from the same firm earlier is smaller in size but has an additional facility of numbering making it more suitable for undertaking job works requiring numbering.
The commissioning of this machine will go a long way in meeting printing requirements of various departments in a timely as well as better manner.
