PORT BLAIR: At a simple function recently at Lillypur, Haddo, the Chairperson, Municipal Council, Smt Sheela Singh laid the foundation stone for construction of CC Motorable Road with RCC & PCC Retaining Wall and Side Drain at Ward No-1 in presence of Mr P.Jawahar, Secretary, PBMC and Mr S Karunakaran, Councillor Ward No-1. The project, to be executed at an estimated expenditure of Rs 35 Lakhs approximately, will add to the aesthetics of the area and will also resolve current problems being faced by the residents particularly during rainy seasons like clogged drains water inundation etc.
