Port Blair, Jan 7: In a major initiative, the Consumer Cooperative Stores Ltd. has decided to provide LPG connections to all residents of Neil Island to make it the country’s first ‘Smokeless Village’. In a release, the Secretary, CCS, Mr K Paramasivam said that the initiative is part of the efforts of CCS towards making eco-friendly fuel available to all residents of these islands. “The initiative will help make Neil Island more greener.”
