Port Blair, Jan 06: The Directorate of Tourism in coordination with District Administration, North & Middle Andaman and other stake holders has organized a capacity building programme for Tourist Safety Enforcement Team (TSET)/Beach Officers and Life Guards who are engaged in boating and other related operations at Diglipur. The training was conducted on 04.01.2016 at Arial Bay Jetty for proper coordination, effective monitoring and functioning of TSET/Beach Officers and Life Guards. The Resource Person from DSS, Shri Aqeeb Azeem, Technical consultant, has imparted the training. All together 25 representatives/officials from various Deptt. and Tourist Boat Operators/Associations have participated in the training programme.
