Port Blair, Jan 4: In yet another initiative toward welfare of local populace, Headquarters Coast Guard Region (A & N) in association with the GB Pant Hospital, Port Blair organized medical check-up camp at Namunaghar, Dundus Point on Monday. A team of six doctors including three specialists in Pediatric, Gynaec and Medicines from GB Pant Hospital took part in the medical camp. Facilities extended during the camp included check up of vital parameter, general hematology, routine tests and general health check up including specialist opinion in Medicine, Gynaec and Pediatric.
Large number of residents of Namunaghar and surrounding areas were benefited with the Medical Camp. During the camp health check up of the student of Govt Secondary School, Namunaghar was also undertaken. The Namunaghar phanchyat thanked Indian Coast Guard for organizing the medical camp in Namunaghar as part of the events planned for Coast Guard Day 2016. A communiqué received from PRO Coast Guard.
