Port Blair, Dec 30: A two-day training of national programme of school standards and Evaluation (NPSSE) for the Headmasters of Secondary Schools and Middle Schools commenced on Dec 29, 2015 in the conference hall of Shiksha Sadan, Port Blair organized by RMSA UT Mission in collaboration with NUEPA, New Delhi. A total of 27 head of Institution attended the training programme.
The workshop is an initiative of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, GoI for improving the significance of school standards and evaluation and an essential pre-requisite for achieving a holistic improvement of schools in the process of providing quality education to all children in the country.
Dr B.M Bhatt, State Project officer (RMSA) speaking on the occasion stressed the need to utilize the lessons and implement the same in the respective schools.
Prof Pranati Panda, Professor & Head, NUEPA Unit on school standards and Evaluation (USSE) outlined the motive behind the orientation workshop and stressed the importance of experience sharing and learning from each other and imparted training to the headmasters.
Dr Veera Gupta, Associate Professor Resource person also imparted orientation through power point and lectures. The programme was coordinated by Mr R.K.Singh, Project Officer (RMSA).
