Port Blair, Dec 4: The local unit of Vishwa Hindu Parishad will organize a Blood Donation Camp at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Lamba Lane on Dec 6, 2016 from 8.30 am. Voluntary donors, workers of VHP and interested persons from the general public have been requested to participate in the camp. The registration of donors will be done on the spot and their name will be enrolled as “Floating Blood Bank” for future reference.
The VHP will prepare a database of all volunteers which will help the islanders to get blood in emergency situation. Those who wish to get their names enrolled in the ‘Blood Donor Database’ at the local unit of Vishwa Hindu Parishad have been requested to attend the camp.
