Port Blair, Dec 03: The Andaman & Nicobar State Cooperative Bank Ltd. under its’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) scheme organised an excursion tour programme on 3rd December, 2015 at Wandoor Beach to mark the
Celebration of International Day of Persons with disabilities in which a total of over 250 differently abled students and persons attended the function.
The programme was also attended by Shri. Bhagat Singh, Chairman of the bank, Shri. Hament B Songadkar, General Manager, NABARD, Shri. Ravinder Rao, Managing Director, ANSCB, Shri. K Murugan, Chief General Manager, ANSCB, Shri. R Babu, Social Activist, a large gathering of differently abled persons from various areas of South Andaman district and Bank Officials. Shri. Bhagat Singh, Chairman spoke on the occasion.
Shri. Hament B Songadkar, General Manager, NABARD appreciated the efforts of the bank for encouraging such functions.
A live orchestra-cum-musical programme was also organised for the beneficiaries by the bank. The beneficiaries enjoyed the excursion tour organised by the bank. At the end, complimentary gifts were also distributed by the bank for the beneficiaries followed by lunch.
