Port Blair, Dec 1: The Coast Guard Wives Welfare Association, Mayabunder made a maiden visit to the remotely located Karmatang IX Basti recently as part of Tatrakshika Anniversary. The members of Tatrakshika interacted with children and their guardians and appreciated the efforts being put in by residents of village in bringing up of children in a very healthy environment. They also organised health lecture for children and briefed them on general health awareness, educational benefits and career opportunities in Coast Guard. The CGWWA (A&N) ladies also organised various fun games for the children and distributed prizes in the remotely located village, said PRO CG.
