Port Blair, Nov 09: On 28.10.15 a complaint was received from Smti Bimala Sikhari regarding theft of cash and gold ornaments. Upon this a case vide Crime No.43/15 dated 28/10/2015 u/s 454/380 IPC was registered.
On receipt of above report a search team was formed which was headed by Inspector Mahesh Kumar SHO, PS Humpfrey Gunj and conducted search operation in and around the jurisdiction and apprehended one juvenile in connection with the case who disclosed the involvement of a main accused namely Tejeshwar Rao S/o Nellaiah R/o Haddo on their pointing out recovered a part of stolen money from the possession of the both Nagen Roy R/o Prothrapur at Pathargudda, after developing credible information from reliable sources the search team raided at the said shop of Shri Sanjay Roy S/o Nagen Roy R/o Prothrapur at Pathargudda on 01.11.15 and recovered few gold ornaments from the possession of the said shopkeeper which was identified by the complainant Smti Bimala Sikhari. The whole operation was carried out under the supervision of the Shri M.A.Naushad, DySP/SDPO(Bambooflat).
General Public are requested to pass on information of illegal activities noticed in the area in South Andaman District to nos. 100-233077, 258019 and 287590.
