Port Blair, Nov 3: Martial arts sensation, Sensei Anusheel Chakraborty, participated in the International Full Contact Karate Knock down Open Weight category Championship in Dhaka, Bangladesh at Shaheed Shuhrawardy Indoor Stadium-Mirpur recently. Anusheel from India as fighter No. 12 fought with Iran Fighter Hamid Bayat as No.9 and Iran fighter won and merged champion in the tournament. Anusheel’s spirit and effort was highly appreciated by IKO Officials, Kyokushinkaikan. He attended the 1st International Kyokushin Karate Black Belt Seminar last month, which was conducted by Shihan Katsushito Gorai 6th Dan (U.S.A ) Branch Chief Of New York & Director of International Department IKO-Kyokushinkaikan. He has distinguished himself in the International Arena of Kyokushin Karate Knockdown Fighting and became the first Karate-Ka from the Islands to fight in many International events and also won the National Heavyweight Kyokushin Karate championship.
