Diglipur, November 02: The work of National population Register (NPR) and seeding the database with Aadhaar Number has been initiated with house to house survey at Diglipur from 1st November, 2015 under Citizen Act, 1955.
In the second day of enumeration the house of Assistant Commissioner, Diglipur and Tehsildar, Diglipur were also covered.
During the door to door survey Mr Dilip Kumar and Mr Niranjan Malakar, nodal officers from census department for North & Middle Andaman were also present.
A total of number of 59Enumerators for all 117 Enumeration Blocks (EBS) under Diglipur Sub-Division has been appointed. The training to the Enumerators has been imparted by the Resource person from census department at Conference hall of Administrative building, Diglipur on 31st October, 2015. Apart from the enumerators all revenue field functionaries also participated in the training.
