Port Blair, Oct 30: The Port Blair Municipal Council, on Friday, bid farewell to Mr Krishnan, Work Charged Mazdoor, attached to JE-V (Works) section of the Council, who retired from government service. At a simple function, the Chairperson, Smt Sheela Singh handed over cheques of all retirement benefits including GPF, gratuity and other monetary benefits to Mr Krishnan. She also presented mementoes to the employees. Senior officials of the Council were also present on the occasion.
