Port Blair, Oct 9: A CID team raided Prem Nagar, Murda Khadi and arrested eight persons on Thursday, who were involved in gambling and recovered Rs 10,300/- from the spot. They were challaned under the Andaman & Nicobar Gambling Regulation. The general public have been requested to inform about any credible information pertaining to gambling, illegal sale or possession of liquor/drugs or any other illegal activity on the following telephone numbers- 100, 232586, 9531856173, 9434289985 & 233307. The identity of the informer will be kept secret.
