Port Blair, Sept 15: The Andaman and Nicobar Traffic Police organized a painting competition on Road Safety to generate awareness on road safety measures. About 54 students from different schools participate in the contest. In the first category, G Janisha of VKV, Gayathri of GSSS Mohanpura and A Asha of KV-1 bagged the first, second and third prizes respectively, while in the second category T Naveen Vamsi of GMSSS, CP Anand of VKV and D Sarath of GSSS Haddo (Telugu) secured the first, second and third positions respectively. Fatema Khatun and Goutami Roy of RBV, V Naveen of NIrmala School and Sutapa Roy of MGIS were awarded consolation prizes, a release says.
