Port Blair, Sept 14: The Institution of Engineers (India), A& N State Centre, Port Blair will celebrate the 48th Engineers’ Day on Tuesday at ALHW Multipurpose Hall (Near Fisheries Jetty), Phonenix Bay, Port Blair. Mr Arun Baroka, Principal Secretary (PWD & Power), A & N Administration will be the chief guest on the occasion.
The Engineers’ Day celebration programme will consist of inaugural and technical sessions in the forenoon from 9 am to 12 noon. The technical session will be held on the theme of this year “Engineering Challenge in Knowledge Era”. This will be followed by Cultural Session from 6 pm to 8 pm. The chief guest will also confer “Best Engineer 2015 Awards” during the function
