Port Blair, Sept 11: As part of Hindi Fortnight -2015, a self composed Hindi poem recitation was organised by the Official Language Department of the A& N Administration on Friday in the conference hall of New Annnex Building Secretariat. The Tourist Information Assistant, Directorate of Tourism, Mr Rajesh Kumar was the chief guest, while Dr. A K Shukla, HoD, Hindi, ANCOL and Mr Durg Vijay Singh Deep were the guests of honour. In his address, Mr Rajesh said that Hindi is popular as link language in these islands. The guests of honour also spoke on the occasion and appreciated the recitations presented by the college students.
