Port Blair, Sept 11: The Doordarshan Kendra here will observe Hindi Fortnight from Sept 14-30, 2015. The Assistant Director (P)/Head of Programme, All India Radio, Port Blair will be the chief guest of the inaugural function to be held at 3.15 pm on Sept 14. The Deputy Director (E)/Head of Office, DDK, Port Blair, Mr M Sundram will chair over the function. Various competitions like Poetry, Dictation, Essay, Noting and Drafting, Quiz etc will be organized during the fortnight to promote the use of Hindi in official works.
