Mayabunder, August 13: Once again an Elephant of Mayabunder region was sighted on the Andaman Trunk Road, which disrupted traffic on ATR road for more nearly two hours this evening.
According to reports, the Elephant was sighted near Wireless Tikri of Baratang region today evening at around 7:30 pm due to which the traffic of both the sides halted. Till last detail poured in, the traffic on both the sides were waiting for the elephant to leave the road, for nearly two hours.
It seems, disruption of traffic at ATR has become a regular event in ATR and the Forest Department has not learnt anything from past mistakes.
