Port Blair, Aug 10: To generate awareness on Fire Prevention – Fire Protection including Fire Risk and Disaster Preparedness among school and college students, government officials and general public, a lecture-cum-demonstration classes on ‘First Aid Fire Fighting, Disaster Mitigation and Medical First Aid’ was conducted at all Fire Stations including Stations in different parts of these islands from Aug 3-7, 2015 in all schools, Govt. Offices and public places in the three districts. Altogether, 477 school students, 93 teachers, 60 government employees and 50 members from the general public attended the training programmes.
