Port Blair, July 16: The 15th death anniversary of Late Capt. Ashim Kumar Bhattacharjee, an alumnus of JNRM who laid down his life fighting militants, will be observed in JNRM campus on July 20, 2015 at 10 am. The Lt. Governor, A&N Islands, Lt. Gen A.K. Singh (Retd) will be the chief guest of the state level event and deliver the ‘Capt. Ashim Kumar Bhattacharjee Memorial Lecture’ on the occasion. The Member of Parliament, Shri Bishnu Pada Ray will be the guest of honour, a communication said.
