Port Blair, June 14: In a condolence meeting organised on 13th June 2015 at 7 PM, in the premises of Radha Govinda Mandir, Netajinagar Joda Canal (Garacharma), the Bengal Association of Andaman
& Nicobar Islands (BAANI) in association with Shree Shree Harinaam Seva Sangha remembered Manoranjan Bhakta, ex-MP from A&N Islands Constituency, who left for his heavenly abode on 12th June 2015 in Kolkata.
The meeting was attended by a large gathering including the office-bearers and members of BAANI & Shree Shree Harinaam Seva Sangha, PRI members and general public. At the outset two minutes’
silence was observed as a mark of respect to the departed soul.
Thereafter floral tribute was offered before the portrait of Manoranjan Bhakta by one and all present in the condolence meeting.

Pradhan, Sipighat; Shri Arumugam, Pradhan, Bhatu Basti; Shri Bipul Howlader, Secretary, Shree Shree Harinaam Seva Sangha and Shri Anadiranjan Biswas, Editor, ‘News Spotlight’ among others, remembered Manoranjan Bhakta’s tireless efforts and valuable contributions in overall development of these Islands and the Islanders, in a befitting manner.
