Port Blair, Ju14: The President, Pradesh Congress Committee, Mr Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Chief Spokesperson, Mr K Ganeshan, President, Mahila Congress, Smt Shanta Laxman Singh, AICC member, Saroop Lall and other leaders have condoled the demise of Bimal Kumar Biswas, Son of Late MS Biswas, resident of Manpur, South Andaman. He was 76 and passed away on Sunday at his residence after protracted illness. His final rites were performed today afternoon.
Late Bimal Kumar Biswas, AICC member, was 2 time elected Pradhan, ex-Pramukh, Zilla Parishad, member of the Pradesh Council as also the Board of Director of the CCS. A veteran Congress leader, Late Biswas, will be remembered for his selfless service for the welfare of the needy sections of the society.
The Congress leaders have mourned the demise of the veteran leader and prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul. They also prayed for enough strength for the members of the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
