Port Blair, June 07: The 45 Probationary Sub- Inspectors who have
recently completed one year training at the Punjab Police Academy were deprived of 10 days leave by the Andaman & Nicobar Police.
According to reports, the 45 PSIs recently completed the training on
29th May and they were asked by the Punjab Police Academy to join the Port Blair, Police Training School on 10th June 2015.
However, they received a letter from the Andaman & Nicobar Police to join the Commando training at Chennai, immediately.
Hence, the PSIs who were wishing to meet their family after a long gap of one year unfortunately will not be able to meet their family this time and they will have to complete the commando training before that.
