Port Blair, June 07: NAACH Academy of performing Arts presented their annual celebrations with two exclusive shows yesterday at the ASI auditorium.
The Chief Guest during the occasion was Mrs Komal Anand, President, Inner Wheel Club and Mr Rakesh Bali, Secretary Arts and Culture.
The Academy held three workshops on Dance, Keyboards and Guitars during the summer vacations which culminated in spellbinding performance by the students from ages between 5-45. The dance show led by Master Ashish Sawant was the most foot tapping show of the year with children performing on hip hop, free style and house.
The Chief Guest Mrs Komal Anand gave away the certificates to the children. The Keyboard students under the guidance of Mr Debit Gain presented a fantastic symphony based on western jazz and sixteen students played solo recitals on different genres like Afro Jazz, Reggae and Latin fusions.
A group of fifteen guitar students presented two orchestrations on Hindustani classical ragas, the first one of Raag Bhairav and second on Brindavani Sarang and Des.
