Port Blair, June 5: The President, Association of Tour Operators (ATO), Mr M. Vinod and other members of the association have welcomed the decision of the administration to open new islands for eco-tourism activities. In a release, Mr Vinod expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi and the Lt. Governor of these islands for identifying new islands for eco tourism activities and other projects for promotion of tourism in these islands. The decision besides developing tourism will also create employment opportunities for the islanders, he said.
