Nimbudera, May 14: The Andaman Trunk Road user today had a harrowing time when they found two elephants standing right on the middle of Andaman Trunk Road. As per report the incident was reported from the ATR stretch, which falls between Nimbudera and Tugapur.
After Mayabunder’s Mast Elephant incident, people of Middle Andaman are deeply scared and any elephant on the ATR is viewed as a serious threat to life.
However, today these Elephants did not cause any damage or panic. As per eye witnesses both the elephants were on the Andaman Trunk Road for nearly 20 minutes at around 2.00 PM in the afternoon and after which they went inside Jungle by their own. There was total disruption of traffic on Andaman Trunk Road during these 20 minutes as no vehicle rider was willing to cross the Elephants.
