Port Blair, April 20: One labourer died on the spot at Brookshabad this evening when a parked tractor suddenly started rolling down hill.
According to sources in Brookshabad, the accident took place when a labourer Mr. Tapas, who was driving the tractor, parked the vehicle on the road side but suddenly he found that the trucker was rolling downhill. According to reports while trying to stop the tractor from rolling, he suffered a hit on his head and died on the spot.
A team of police reached the spot immediately and took the dead body to the G. B. Pant Hospital.
