Port Blair, Apr 13: The 124th birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar will be celebrated tomorrow (Apr 14). The A&N Administration will be organising a solemn function at the statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar near main entrance of Ambedkar auditorium tomorrow in which the Lt. Governor, Lt. Gen A.K. Singh (Retd.) will pay floral tributes to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar at 9.30 am. The Member of Parliament, Shri Bishnu Pada Ray will also pay floral tributes to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar on the occasion.
The Islanders have been requested to join the A&N Administration in paying tribute to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, an official communication said here today.
