Port Blair, Apr 8: On behalf of the Telugu Community of these islands, the Andhra Association here has expressed gratitude to the Lt. Governor for introducing weekly Air India flights in the Port Blair-Vishakhapatnam-New Delhi sector from Apr 9, 2015. The air connectivity to Visakhapatnam will not only benefit natives of Andhra Pradesh but also those from neighbouring states of India and tourists, said Mr P Surya Rao, President of the Association. The Association also expressed gratitude to the Union Minister for Civil Aviation, Mr. P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju Garu, Member of Parliament, Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray and the Air India authorities, he added.
