Port Blair, Mar 22: Island youth Sunanth Anand died after a one vehicle rollover accident in Otter Tail County, Dakota, Minnesota, USA, yesterday.
According to a report published in http://www.wdaz.com the Minnesota State Patrol says the accident happened on Interstate 94 at Cascade Street around 7:45 (Local time) Friday night.
They say a 2005 Ford Econoline van was traveling westbound when it lost control and went off the left side of the road. The van then came back across the road to the right side of the ditch where it rolled several times before coming to a rest on the roof.
The driver of the van, 23-year-old Sunanth Anand of Clemson, South Carolina was pronounced dead. 40-year-old Arnaldo Carvalho of Fargo was a passenger and wasn’t injured.
Sunanth Anand was of 2009- Class XII batch of Carmel School, Port Blair.
Meanwhile, friends, school mates and other Islanders have expressed deep shock over the incident. Hundreds of condolence message are being posted in various Facebook Posts regarding this tragic incident.
