Port Blair, Mar 18: The Tourism Department of A&N Administration is organizing “Flea Market” on 21st and 22nd March 2015 at Marina Park, from 4 pm to 10 pm by the support of Individuals, Cultural Associations, Self help groups, NGOs etc with the motto of promoting the local culture, cuisine, art & handicrafts and also to encourage the participation of the local towards promotion of Tourism in the Islands.
The Department of Tourism is also inviting applications from sports person like roller skaters, mini golf, and any other fun games during the event at Marina Park. Participants can exchange or sell personal goods and belongings like books, music CDs, clothes, small furniture, accessories, jewellery, appliances, crockery, decorative items, hand paintings, utility products, homemade local pickles/ masala items etc.
To make the event truly a relaxing, rejuvenating weekend festival, applications are invited from interested participants to collect the application forms from this directorate for setting up a kiosk during “Flea Market “ on 21st and 22nd March, 2015 at Marina Park as per the terms and conditions of the Tourism department
