Port Blair, March 08: The Aam Admi Party (AAP), A&N Islands has demanded a judicial enquiry on the Bhatubasti Fire Accident that gutted the entire vegetable market in the early morning hours on 6th March 2015. The fire accident took place at around 3.00 am and was under control by 6.30 am.
In a letter to the Lt. Governor, A&N Islands, the Convenor of AAP Shri Sanjay Meshack drawing the attention of the LG towards suspected that the market was purposely burnt. Demanding a Judicial enquiry into the incident, the Convenor also requested for adequate compensation to the traders who lost their business.
