Port Blair, Mar 08: The Coir Board under the Ministry of MSME, Government of India partnered with the ITCOT Consultancy and Services Ltd and in association with the Yuvasakthi,NGO, Port Blair will be organizing a series of EDP (entrepreneurship development programmes) at various places of South Andaman area from 13th to 20th March 2015.
In its first phase, a three day EDP will be organized at Bambooflat, Ferrargunj Tehsil from 13th to 16th March 2015 and this will be aimed at providing an in-depth idea about various coir products including methods of coir fiber extraction, refining, re-processing etc to the participants. Similarly, the second phase of EDP will be conducted in the premises of Yuvasakthi, Toor Niwas, RGT Road, Port Blair from 17th to 19th March 2015 in which participants will be enlightened on various methods of coir products manufacturing, marketing and various aspects of entrepreneurship associated with Coirs.
Mr. Bhoopalan, Regional Officer, Coir Board (MSME, Government of India) will be the key resource person in both the programmes and programmes will be facilitated by the Yuvasakthi, NGO.
