Digllipur, Mar 05: As per initiation of APWD a technical team of experts today visited the Kalighat Jetty area where the people of Nishchintapur village are sitting on relay hunger strike from the last 7 days. The villagers expressed their happiness on the visit of experts who will find possibilities for construction of Nischintapur Bridge. The team assured the villagers that within 7 days they will start the survey of that area and within 2 months they shall submit a report to the officials. In the mean time the villagers decided to continue the strike till a concrete proposal of the bridge is submitted.
It is learnt that for the bridge the Administration would require both CRZ and Forest Clearance and the expert team will conduct study in that regard.
