Port Blair, Feb 26: Viper Island which has a prominent place in the history of these Islands, is now open for Tourists with effect from 26th Feb, 2015. All necessary arrangements to operate ferry services from Rajiv Gandhi Waters Sports Complex to Viper Island have been made. There will be no services on Wednesdays.
The trip to Viper Island was closed for Tourists after the boat tragedy on 26th Jan, 2014 due to shortage of boats. Tickets for Viper Island will be available from the ticket counters at TIC Counter of IP&T Directorate & Rajiv Gandhi Water Sports Complex.
