Port Blair, Feb 25: Many residents of Hutbay have stated their problem for insufficient Helicopter services and accordingly PCC President Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Lt Governor to consider helicopter services twice a day.
In his letter Kuldeep has stated that due to over flow of passengers from Hutbay to Port Blair and vice-versa and closer of the services of sea plane, the present services of helicopter once a day is not enough for the benefit of the residents of Hutbay for which many residents have requested him to submit their demand to the Administrator for increasing the services Helicopter from once a day to twice a day as many passengers have to be stranded at Port Blair and Hutbay due to non availability of tickets. Kuldeep has also stated that such arrangement will also be useful for the incoming tourists.
