Port Blair, Feb 25: The valedictory function of five days training programme from 16.02.2015 to 20.02.2015 on “Community base awareness on First Aid fighting & Disaster preparedness & Medical First Aid” for general public, Govt. servants of various departments, Students etc. was held on 24.02.2015 in the conference hall of A&N Police Fire Service training Centre at FS (HQs), Port Blair.
The chief Officer, A&N Islands was the chief Guest of the occasion. In his address he appraised the participants to utilize the knowledge and experience gained during the training programme in case of any eventuality at their localities. During the training programme, all the participants actively participated and stated that this training programme has built the capacity of the participants to respond on any emergency and to avoid any major mishap. During the programme, participants also shared their views about the progrmme.
Altogether, 56 persons consisting of Govt. servants from various departments viz Directorate of shipping services, Directorate of Education, Students from DBRAIT, Andaman college and MGIS and employees from private establishments were also attended the raining programme. Certificates were provided to all participants by the chief Guest.
