Port Blair, Feb 09: The Island sports persons Ms. Regina Kiro and Ms. Sandhya Kispotta secured the first gold medal for the Islands in the 35th National Games 2015 being held at Kerala, as per the message received here from officials present in the National Games. They won the medal in K2 (1000 Mtr) in Kayaking. Ms. Regina also won one silver medal in the K1 (1000 Mtr). Till today the Island contingent has won 1 gold and 2 silver medals in the 35th National Games.
