Rangat, Jan 16: Shiv Ganaga Mandir Committee celebrated Makar Sankranti Mahotsav at Shiv Ganga Mandir at Amkunj in Rangat area by organising several cultural programmes throughout the day.
In connection with the Makarsankranti Utshav VHP Rangat and Billyground unit organized a Virat “Hindu Dharama Sammelan” at the Shiv Ganga Mandir Complex at Amkunj.
On the Occasion Dr. Sachindranath Sinha, Organising Secretary (Eastern Zone), VHP was the Chief Speaker, who vividly explained about the Makar Sankranti Utsav and its objectives.
He said that hindu religion is one of the oldest religions of the world which possessed the strength to bring all the people together with peace and prosperity.
Besides this, Makar Sankranti Utshav was also celebrated in Swadeshnagar, Billyground, Pinakinagar, Basantipur GramPanchayat, Tugapur Panchayat.
