Port Blair, Dec 26: A mini bus, under repair at a Garage at Garacharma was completely destroyed by fire today at 7:45 pm. According to reports, the fire was caused while carrying out welding work inside the bus.
On information a team of Fire Brigade with two fire tenders and one water bowzer rushed to the spot immediately. It took nearly half an hour to control the fire. Luckily no one was injured in the accident. The fire team was led by Sub Inspector Karmakar.
