Port Blair, Dec 24: In continuation of the Directorate of Civil Aviation’s press release issued yesterday in respect of the procedures to be followed for reservation of tickets in the chartered flight services on Port Blair-Chennai-Port Blair sector scheduled to commence on 3rd January, 2015, This is to further inform:
In this regard, the passengers can collect the printed tickets from the respective reservation office at Chennai/ Port Blair during office working hours from 3 days prior to departure of each flight or can collect the same from the representative of A & N Administration at the entrance of the airport at Port Blair/ Chennai 3 hrs before departure of each flight.
Arrangements are also being made to communicate the booking references i.e PNR / Ticket No by SMS/email to confirmed passengers, once the Airline issues the ticket. On receipt of PNR No. through SMS, the passengers can obtain the printed ticket from any of the Air India counter.
For outlying areas of Nicobar District and North & Middle Andaman District, some quota of tickets has been allotted. DC North and Middle Andaman has been allotted 10 seats from Chennai to Port Blair and 10 seats from Port Blair to Chennai.
DC Nicobar has been allotted 10 seats from Chennai to Port Blair and 10 seats from Port Blair to Chennai.
The Islanders belonging to the Nicobar and N & M Andaman District may apply in the prescribed format available on website: www.and.nic.in to the respective Deputy Commissioner’s Office. The Deputy Commissioner of these 2 Districts will forward the names of the short listed 10 passengers to the Deputy Director (CA) 72 hrs. prior to departure of flight.
