Port Blair, Dec 24: National consumer day was celebrated today at Mayabunder by Dept. of Civil Supplies & Consumer affairs. A Seminar cum workshop was organised for the students of GMSSS Mayabunder by Asst. Director (CS&CA) Mr. Aneesh Chatterjee. Around 300 Students from class 9 to 12 of GMSSS Mayabunder participated in the program. The theme for the Day was Consumer Awareness on E -Commerce.
Mr. Aneesh Chatterjee briefed the students of different streams about the growing demand of E Commerce in India and the B2C concepts. Later an Essay Competition on the same theme was also held in the same venue post lunch session and the students participated in large number. Various queries were raised by the students and the same was answered by AD CS& CA Mayabunder.
