Port Blair, Dec 14: A meeting of Zilla Parishad, South Andaman for the constitution of Standing Committee as per the provisions of A&N Islands (PRIs) (Constitution Committees) Rules, 2005 was convened under the chairmanship of Miss. V.K. Mariyam Bibi, Adhyaksha, Zilla Parishad on 11th December 2014 in the conference hall of Zilla Parishad, South Andaman. Five committees were constituted namely Finance, Taxation and Accounts Committee, Public Health and Sanitation Committee, Works and Development Committee, Water Supply and works Committee and Educational and Social Justice Committee. Each committee consists of one chairperson and four other members.
