Port Blair, Dec 11: A & N Administration has published the draft list of Socio- Economic Caste Census, 2011 in Daily Telegram, Dated 3/12/2014 for public domain to lodge their claim & objection in the prescribed form before the designated officers within 30/12/2014. In this context Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, Member of Parliament has brought some vital issues before the Lt. Governor and further requested to extend the last date up to 31/01/2015 for submission of claim & objections by the individual.
Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, the Member of Parliament has further appealed to all Panchayat Pradhans, PRI Members, Political Parties, Associations and all regional communities of this Territory those who are belonging to SC/ST/ BC / OBC etc., in their original state to go through the report and to lodge their protest for conducting re-survey the same in proper and systematic manner for the benefit of reservation as admissible to the SC/ST/BC/OBC etc., at Mainland.
