Port Blair, Dec 01: The Port Management Board is all set to provide more and more basic amenities for ATR passengers at places like Middle Strait, Nilambur, Gandhighat and Uttara etc.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha the Chief Port Administrator of PMB Mr. Jyothi Giridhara Rao has said that with the help of Tourism Department the PMB will soon be providing additional sitting arrangement for ATR passengers, waterless toilet blocks.
“Most probably the canteen facility at Nilumbur will be inaugurated this month. But Middle strait being Tribal area canteen facilities cannot be provided there, however with the permission of the tribal welfare department bottle drinking water facilities has been made available on payment basis at Middle Strait,” Mr Jyothi added.
