Port Blair, Mar 03: The electric Meter box placed near the entrance of Khalsa Public School, Gurudwara Line has become a death trap, which may kill parents or students at any point of time. As seen in the photographs several wires are coming out from the electric meters and are hanging dangerously right above a bench where parents wait for their children and often students wait for arrival of parents after school.
“This is dangerous and may lead to fatal accident any day. This electric meter board must be replaced of shifted immediately,” said an angry parent.
Children have tendencies to play with every strange thing, they encounter, including electric wires, without even thinking that some of these wires are could be live and electrocution may even kill them.
“We have already decided in a meeting and we will shift it soon,” Dr. S K Jagpal, Principal of Khalsa Public School told Andaman Sheekha reporter today when contacted.
