Port Blair, Nov 13: SUO Ashutosh Singh and JUO Priya Karmakar of No.1 A & N Indep Inf. Coy NCC participated in the Special National Integration Camp held at Jaiselmer, Rajasthan from Oct 28 to Nov 8, 2014. During the camp, the cadets were given exposure to various traditions and culture of the states of the country. Apart from training, various competitions were also conducted during the camp to develop their personality and inculcate team spirit amongst the cadets.
Among the Senior Division/Wing, JUO Priya Karmakar from A&N Islands excelled in sports activities and was awarded Silver Medal for her outstanding performance. The Commanding Officer congratulated the cadets for bringing laurels to these islands in a row especially by the girls wing of JNRM and assured them all possible assistance in taking up a career in defence forces.
